Abused teens, horses heal together

CUMBERLAND, Maine (NEWS CENTER) – There are several therapeutic riding programs in Maine that do wonderful work. Teaching people with mental and physical disabilities how to ride a horse builds confidence.

But there is a relatively new program in Cumberland that is less about teaching people to ride, and more about teaching them to trust.

That is the goal of Horse and Rider Connection in Cumberland which pair wild and abused horses, with at risk teenagers.
