Ready to Ride? Give Nora a home!

News

Just a month a go we did a post about Nora – the pretty polka dotted chestnut colored Quarter Horse mare. She is 14 hands high and approximately 15 years old (we often do not know exact ages of the horses that come through our gates since they are rescues!). Nora is an easy keeper, did great on her ground skills exam and our trainer, Chuckie, has been working with Nora on her riding skills (watch video below). Nora still needs home! Call us at 409-935-0277 from 8:00am – 4:00pm Central Time Monday – Friday to find out more and set up a time to see Nora!https://www.youtube.com/embed/0tZgrdyEjlY

Nora will make a fine pleasure horse. She simply needs someone to ride her! Adopting Nora – or any rescued horse – will make a difference beyond the love both you and her will share. Adopting a horse allows us to have more room to adopt another horse in need. Generally speaking it is less expensive than going out and buying a horse with similar skills. You will need to have a place for Nora to live and there are other standard criteria that any horse owner should have – you can find out more about them here: Habitat for Horses Adoption Page
