Meet Satin

This sweet mare may take a bit of time to warm up, but once she does she’s as affectionate as can be. She loves petting and is getting better and better at being caught. Once caught, she’s good for the farrier and leads well – but definitely prefers the company of another horse (usually her friend, Winslow). While she may need a bit of time to warm up to new humans, she does very well out in the pasture with other horses. If you’re looking for a sweet mare to brighten your day and your pastures, she’s your gal.

Keep Our Herd Cool this Summer

Texas heat is hard on our entire herd, but especially for our seniors like Jericho here. Older equines struggle with regulating their body temperature, have trouble breathing, and can become dehydrated quickly. The cost of caring for them adds up fast — can you send a gift and help us prep for the season?
