Meet Rihanna

A large mustang with a larger personality. It can all be summed up by this: “She’s got a big personality and makes me laugh.”

For more information, her foster has this to say about her:
“I’ve been calling her grandma horse cuz she’s just thoroughly unimpressed but so gentle about it.”
“She’s progressing quickly and is fun to work with. She also makes my legs very tired.”
“She’s terribly ineffective at bucking”
“She’s very herd bound and protests with flinging her head about and trying to drag back to them. She’s moving out easier and easier, going further away and fussing less. She’s not as easy a ride as I predicted, but she’s making great progress and I’m really proud of her.”
“We were able to do some sword and spear work. Bareback. One hand in a bitless. Ears pinned and teeth bared at the other horse. She was fantastic.”
“Ri likes to turn back and make sure every weapon isn’t edible. A few times. Just to be sure.”

And makes us laugh by association. Huge thank you to Mikki for all your continued hard work and for entertaining us endlessly while working with Rihanna.

To summarize:
She’s not a kids horse
She has big opinions
But she’s not scary or mean
Just needs confidence, patience, and someone that knows if they let it turn into a fight then no one is going to leave happy
She wants to be heard, not bullied
With equioxx she is a great light riding horse.
