Meet Grant

This cute paint gelding is very curious about everything that goes on in pasture but he likes human interactions on his terms and if pushed will let us know very clearly that he’s unhappy. Because of his fallen fetlocks he cannot be ridden and has a hard time balancing on one back foot at a time, but he’s good for the farrier for his front feet and he leads well and is easy to halter. He recently had an eye removed, and now is happy and healthy.  Looking for a companion for your current herd? Look no further, Grant is your guy!

Keep Our Herd Cool this Summer

Texas heat is hard on our entire herd, but especially for our seniors like Jericho here. Older equines struggle with regulating their body temperature, have trouble breathing, and can become dehydrated quickly. The cost of caring for them adds up fast — can you send a gift and help us prep for the season?
