Meet Catalina

Catalina is a lovely girl who has been enjoying her time in the pasture with her friends. We know she has a great history of riding well in western tack and being a high energy joy to ride. She can be a bit cinchy but if you go slowly, she does just fine. She stands for mounting and (don’t let her age fool you!) she is a forward mover under saddle. She stands well for our farrier and while she can be difficult to catch in the field initially, once she gets to know you (a snack or two won’t hurt!) she is easy to halter, has great ground manners, and plenty of energy! She does well living with other horses and would love to meet you!

Keep Our Herd Cool this Summer

Texas heat is hard on our entire herd, but especially for our seniors like Jericho here. Older equines struggle with regulating their body temperature, have trouble breathing, and can become dehydrated quickly. The cost of caring for them adds up fast — can you send a gift and help us prep for the season?
