Meet Fynn

This sporty mare thinks she would love to learn more about the life of a working horse, with the right human in her life. While she enjoys scratches from the humans, she is looking for more of a partner, someone she can collaborate with, have open communication with. She knows what she wants and isn’t shy about it. She’ll let us know when we’re going too fast for her, and you know what? We support that. This girl will go places with the right human. She does well in pasture with other horses and donkeys, but she stands up for what she wants and she certainly won’t let any other horses step on her toes, especially when there is food around (nothing wrong with that – just make sure there’s enough space between her food and other horses!). She wants you to know she is 12/10 worth the patience of her trainers (she’s one smart cookie, so maybe we’ll work on fractions next). Do to her strong personality, around other horses she would be best with space, especially meal time.

No experience under saddle that we know of, but we did begin to introduce her to one (she seemed curious, but not overly impressed by it!). Like all of our horses, Fynn will need a patient home that uses gentle methods and works with her in a partnership (she does not respond well to harsh corrections, and is very clear about that – good for her!).
