Explain overall Health: TC broke down during a race and recently had his left front ankle fused. He cannot be ridden but gets around just fine in the pasture with other horses. There should be no further problem with that ankle now that it has been treated. As with many of his breed, he needs help in maintaining his weight. His health is excellent now.

Explain overall socialization: TC is a nice, gentle horse. He is big and can use his size to be pushy if not reminded that you are in charge. He is good with youngsters. He is curious and friendly and will come to see you, say hello, and look for treats you might be offering.

Explain manners: TC is a very agreeable horse with a few exceptions. He would rather be outside than stalled. Stalls tend to make him weave and pace. He had enough of stalls when he was confined while recuperating from his operation. He also doesn’t like fly sprays or being blanketed. Otherwise, he will let you do most anything to him. He loves being groomed.

Explain overall training: Top Carte was trained as a racing thoroughbred but can no longer be ridden due to the injury he sustained on the track. He is a very nice, healthy horse and would make a wonderful pasture companion for any type of horse.
