Explain overall Health:  Stetson is a Thoroughbred and, as with others of his breed, needs help maintaining his weight.  He has calcification in his ankles from racing.  He is not showing any pain,  and can be lightly ridden with a light weight  rider.  Walk, Trot only.  No  cantering, jumping  or long trail rides.  Vet took xrays and he has some arthritis.   for the long term, he should have a good joint supplement.

Explain overall training:  He  is a former racing horse.  He has had a lot of training since his racing days.   Does not like being mounted from the ground, it twists his back.  A mounting block helps a lot.  He  needs a wither pad. 

 

Explain history if known:  Stetson is a former racing Thoroughbred whose ankle injuries made racing painful so he was retired.
