Snapple
Breed: Paint
Sex: Gelding
DOB: ~1997
Height:
Color: Sorrell
and white
Markings:
Location:
Hurst, TX
Adoption Fee:
Fee in Review.
Temperament:
Good. Not spooky.
Physical problems / health issues:
Snapple was gelded at
the end of January and
has recovered well from
that procedure. Seems
sound. No leg
blemishes.
Interaction with horses:
Probably okay, but
hasn’t been put out next
to the other horses
because he runs so much,
taking off any weight
his foster home has put
on him.
Interaction with people:
He is easy to handle.
Loves to be brushed and
petted.
History:
Training / abilities:
When Snapple is ready,
he will be evaluated and
have some training if
need be. It’s still
early in the process for
us to know if or how
broke-to-ride he is.
Experience level
required to work with
this horse: to be
determined.
Has this horse ever:
Bucked? No. Reared? No.
Kicked?
No. Bitten? No. Other?
Ground handling:
Catch? Lead?
Tie?
Not tied much, but was
tied in the trailer with
no problem.
Trailer? Yes, just
fine.
Clip? Not yet
attempted.
Trim Feet? Good,
even though his feet had
not been tended in a
while.
Bathe? Not yet
attempted.

Other comments:
Snapple is looking good
for just being an
overall fine horse
companion. He is easy
to be with in any case.
His current foster home
says that they move
easily around him; can
clean his stall without
him in it, pick up
manure under him with
the manure fork, and
good ‘ole Snapple never
says a word. Snapple is
showing us that he is a
steady good boy. Keep
watching. It’s only
going to get better.
