Explain overall health:    Happy and healthy! He is a beautiful boy with a lot of spunk! Si-Kis is a sweet horse who has worked hard to overcome his fear of humans and now is a trusting soul.  He is athletic and energetic and is never aggressive.  He is a real character once you get to know him. Si-Kis would make a good dressage or eventing horse he is a wonderful mover!

Explain overall socialization:   Runs and plays with the other horses in a very large pasture.  Si-Kis gets along with everyone.  He came into HfH care very fearful and untrusting. He has slowly come around, he needs a patient experienced handler to build his trust and confidence with. Very alpha. Likes to be with mares. Does not do well with older horses.

Explain manners Si-Kis is very skeptical of new people, but is a very trusting horse once he gets to know you.  He does best with someone who goes slowly. He needs patience and love and with the right person, will bloom into a very nice riding horse.  He takes after his Arabian side more than his Appy side.

Explain overall training:   Being haltered and led in a round pen.  He is learning ground manners and is also being lunged.   He and the others he is with are stabled at night and Si-Kis knows his stall and goes into it without hesitation.  He is a willing and capable student. Si-Kis just started training before the winter break under saddle. He is trainable and needs an experienced handler to bring him along.
