Shyanna is a very sweet
and loving horse who
loves attention. She
knows her name and will
come when she is
called.
Physical problems /
health issues:
Shyanna has a continuing
hoof problem which is
under control with
natural hoof trimming.
There is also problem
with the tendons in her
front legs that caused
her legs to swell. The
swelling has gone down
and hasn’t returned in
the last four months.
She is small but stout
and an easy keeper.
Interaction with horses:
She is in the middle of
the pecking order in a
small herd. She gets
along with the rest of
the herd and does not
start altercations with
the others although she
will stand her ground.
Shyanna can be
aggressive at feeding
time but this is not
currently a problem
since all of the horses
are fed in separate
stalls.
Interaction with people:
Shyanna is very sweet
and gentle with people.
She loves to be brushed
and made pretty. Treats
are high on her list of
priorities. She plays
with plastic bottles
hung by her stall.
History: Shyanna
had been adopted out
once and returned
through no fault of her
own.
Training / abilities:
Although she is broke to
ride, Shyanna is not
currently rideable due
to the issues with her
front legs and hooves.
Her foster mom is
hopeful she will be
rideable in the future.
