Explain overall Health:  Sassy is healthy, young and growing. Being a mustang, she will not be all that tall, but she has the good, hard mustang hooves. Her teeth have not been floated yet due to her young age, but she shows no signs of tooth or eating problems.

Explain overall socialization:  Sassy is a bit unsure, since it is not that long since she was weaned. She is curious about people and is interested in what they do. She gets along fine in a very large mixed herd.

Explain manners: Sassy was not worked with as a foal, but she has had attention once she came into Habitat for Horses' care and enjoys it. Sassy has been worked with on ground manners, but she is very young and needs practice because she still reverts to the baby dance at thimes. She has been successfully trimmed without a problem. Treats are the key to keeping her attention.

Explain overall training:  Sassy has received no training for riding skills due to her youth. She is healthy and built just fine although as a mustang, she will never be a big horse. Once someone begins to work with her, the possibilities are endless..

 

Explain history if known:  Awarded to Habitat for Horses with her mom, Lady Rebecca Rolfe, who is a registered mustang..
