Temperament: Royal is a gentle easy going horse. He has a sweet personality that will make you just fall in love.

Physical problems / health issues: Royal has a sensitive stomach. He is OK as long as there is no sudden change in food, and needs to be sanded on a regular basis.

Interaction with horses: He gets along really well. He shows an angry side at feeding time but its just show. He is a lover not a fighter.

Interaction with people: Royal loves attention and loves his treats. He will stand all day just to let you brush him and he loves to look pretty.

History:

Training / abilities: Royal has had a lot of ground work done. He carries himself very well and knows what he is doing. He knows when a child is on his back and walks very carefully. I ride him with a Tom Thumb Snaffle with a loose chain and it only takes one finger to control him. He lessons very well.

Experience level required to work with this horse: Anybody any age.

Has this horse ever:  Bucked? No. Reared? No. Kicked? No. Bitten? In self defense. Other?  Does not like crossing water on trail rides.

Ground handling: Catch? Very easy, I don’t keep a halter on him. Lead? Very well, all you need is a string around his neck.  Tie? Does well at both cross ties and at the hitch or just lay the rains or lead rope on the ground and he will stay. Trailer? Very well, loves to ride.  Clip? Doesn’t like the clippers but will do well with scissors. He doesn’t like his ears messed with. Trim Feet? Does very well. Bathe? Loves his bubble baths, will not move and doesn’t mind having his face washed.

Special needs: None.

Other comments: Royal is a very loving and gentle horse for his size and will make a good first time owner’s horse. Once you get a bridle on him his whole personality changes to this meek moldable piece of putty that will do anything you want him to do.
