Explain overall socialization: Sonia is a loner and could be happy as an only horse.  When she was first thrown into the large mixed herd she is currently a part of, she was overwhelmed.  She is fine now but would prefer to be by herself.  She does better when fed separately because she tends to guard her food from other horses.  She craves attention from people and loves treats, especially cookies.
