Temperament: Racer is a nice horse who does not act his age.  He acts more like a baby and is a bit goofy.  He has not been handled much and needs someone to show him what to do.  He is willing to learn.  Racer does not have a mean bone in his body.

Physical problems / health issues: None. 

Interaction with horses: Gets along well in a large mixed herd.

Interaction with people: Racer is shy around new people.  He has not had a lot of experience with humans but is cooperative and is ready to do whatever is necessary to get a treat from you.  Once he is caught, he is easy to handle unless you try to push him too fast.  Patience is the key; treats are a reinforcement.

History: Seized by law enforcement due to neglect and awarded to HfH.

Training / abilities: Racer has not been tested by the ranch staff just yet.  He is ready to start under saddle.  He appears to know nothing but has good ground manners unless you are in a hurry and are harsh with him.  He stands nicely for grooming and picks up his feet willingly.

Experience level required to work with this horse: Experienced since he knows nothing yet.
