Nacori
Breed: Pinto
Sex: Mare
DOB: 2003
Height: 14 hh
Color: Bay & white Tobiano
Markings: blaze
Location: Hitchcock, TX
Adoption Fee: $350

Temperament: Friendly and curious with a “sparky” personality. Will make a beautiful riding horse. She has a great overall confident personality with a spark of mischief. She’s seeking her partner in crime for grand adventures and to be best friends.

Physical problems / health issues: None.

Interaction with horses: Interacts well with her pasture-mates. Is dominant with other horses.

Interaction with people: Friendly and will come to the fence to visit.

History: Was seized due to neglect in January 2004. Adopted out in February 2005 and returned in 2008.

Training / abilities: Does not have any training for riding, etc. Jumped a four foot fence when agitated over being separated from her pasture mate, so is athletic enough to be trained to be a jumper.

Experience level required to work with this horse: Beginner for being around her on the ground. Will need a trainer or experienced horse person to start her on saddle training.

Has this horse ever:  Bucked?  Reared?  Kicked? At other horses Bitten?  Other?

Ground handling: Catch? yes Lead? yes Tie? yes  Trailer? yes Clip? Don’t know Trim Feet? yes Bathe? Don’t know

Special needs: None

Other comments: Originally came into LSER at ten months of age and was reportedly very cautious of new things. The original foster home said she needed to be worked with very regularly or would regress in her groundwork. Now at the age of 5 years she is friendly and approachable. When she was in foster care before, Nacori attended a parade as a representative of rescue horses and she did wonderfully.  She acted better than most of the seasoned, older horses and was very calm even with the fire trucks blaring
