Interaction with horses: Gets along well in the herd. Is very attached to our resident horse Pete. So much so that we refer to him as 're-pete'.

Interaction with people: Friendly. Likes attention and readily approaches to get some.

History: Merlot is a Nevada 980 rescue.

Training / abilities: Currently Merlot has not had any formal training. He was born wild and much work has been done to lead him to be people friendly.
