cooperative when she is
haltered. She enjoys
being tacked up and
ridden.

Is part of a large mixed
herd and is the leader
of a trio that came to
the ranch at the same
time. She is the
protector of her group
but is not aggressive
unless she feels that
one of her friends is
threatened.

Maxine prefers not to
spend time with people
but she is grudgingly
cooperative when
haltered. When tacked
up, she is excited at
the prospect of going
for a ride.
History:
Estray picked up by law
enforcement and turned
over to HfH.
Training / abilities:
Maxine has reasonably
good ground manners.
She does not like to be
removed from her small
group but when she is,
she knows what to do and
is more cooperative.
Maxine is rideable but
her skills are rusty
from lack of use. She
should not be ridden
hard at her age, but for
occasional riding she is
fine.
