Explain overall Health:  Max is healthy and a beautiful young horse.  He has had his teeth checked and he has had his hooves trimmed.  At one point he had a puncture injury to his shoulder, since healed with no permanent scar, which required confinement.  Max ate this up.  He didn’t want to leave the attention he was getting at the hospital barn.

Explain overall socialization:  Max loves people and attention.  He was a model patient when injured.  He loves treats.  He gets along fine in a large mixed herd.  His special friend is Galina, a young mare.

Explain manners:  Max has very good manners, especially for a horse so young.  He has not been bathed yet nor fly sprayed but there is no indication that he will not accept anything a handler wants to do with him.  He is very cooperative and willing to please.

Explain overall training:  Max has not been exposed to any riding training yet but is at an ideal age to start.  He has the ability and mindset to be trained for just about anything.

 

Explain history if known:  No prior information known before coming into HfH. Max is very attached to Galina and came from FL to TX.
