Temperament: Marshmallow has really changed in the 6 months we’ve had her. She is very sweet and has really become a people horse. What a difference a little love does. She is a very easy keeper.  She now comes running when she sees my car drive up the driveway. I put a blanket on her after dark in the blowing wind and she didn’t move. She has her trust of humans back!

Physical problems / health issues: Marshmallow has completed recovery and is looking and feeling great.  She's an all white pony that is available for companion or pet.  She is 18 years old and has low fetlock problems.  She can run and play, but riding is out of the question.

Interaction with horses: She is playing with the other horses. She is now part of the herd. She can be the bottom of the herd, or the top depending on the other horses.

Interaction with people: She comes running to the fence anytime someone is outside.

History: Seized by law enforcement in Anderson County and awarded to Habitat for Horses.

Training / abilities: She has a lot of years behind her. You can do just about anything with her. She stands for the farrier. She loves to be brushed.

Experience level required to work with this horse: Beginner, she can’t be ridden, but you don’t need experience to love her!!

Has this horse ever: Bucked? No. Reared? No. Kicked? Yes, she kicks at the goats that try to steal her food. Bitten? No. Other?

Ground handling: Catch? Yes. Lead? Yes with halter or rope around neck. Tie? Yes. Trailer? Yes. Clip? Trim Feet? Yes. Bathe? Yes.

Special needs: None.

Other comments: She has really changed and come around. When we first got her, she didn’t want anything to do with any other people or animals. Now she sticks with the herd and comes running when she sees me. I think we have her trusting once again.
