Lucky is a very laid
back and calm horse. He
loves children, he is
very gentle with them.
Physical problems / health issues:
Lucky has some fusing in
his front left ankle due
to injections that were
given to keep him sound
as a carriage horse.
Interaction with horses:
Very good. He doesn’t
bother other horses,
just minds his own
business.
Interaction with people:
Lucky is very friendly
and sweet. He loves to
be talked to and
groomed.
History:
Lucky was a carriage
horse in St. Augustine
and retired at the end
of 2005 due to his
lameness issue. He was
bought and then
abandoned at a boarding
facility.
Training
/ abilities:
Lucky can drive and be
ridden, but due to his
lameness issues should
only have very light
work.

horse who loves
attention and is very
easy to care for. He
would make a wonderful
companion horse, and he
gets along well with the
young TB filly and blind
horse who are at his
foster home. Lucky
causes no problems and
is very easy to handle.
