Temperament: Jodi was reluctant to trust at first, since she was a broodmare, she didn't appear to have much handling.  She recently trained with trainer Robert Liner and is coming along in her reactions to human interaction and getting used to the barn activity.

Physical problems / health issues: None known.

Interaction with horses: Gets along good with broodmares, might be dominant in some herds.

Interaction with people:

History: Previously used as a broodmare.

Training / abilities: Jodi was in training with Robert Liner for some months.  They worked on all aspects of ground handling and desensitization.  She's learned how to round pen, respond to vocal commands and her ground manners are solid. Her trust in humans is still somewhat shaky though and her trainer did not feel she was ready for saddle training quite yet.  She needs more interaction with humans on the ground with her new skills before she gets more training.  Robert Liner did feel she could be broken to ride though.

Experience level required to work with this horse: Experienced.

Has this horse ever:  Bucked? No. Reared? Yes. Kicked? Yes. Bitten? Yes. Other? No.

Ground handling: Catch? No. Lead? No. Tie? No. Trailer? Yes, with time and patience. Clip? No. Trim Feet? No. Bathe? No.

Special needs:

Other comments: A very nice size mare who if trained will have no limits on what she can do. Jodi needs someone experienced to work with her. she is slow to trust.
