Temperament: Janet is very sweet once she gets to know you but she is wary of strangers.  This should improve with more socialization.

Physical problems / health issues:  None

Interaction with horses: Janet is the dominant horse here, and can sometimes be aggressive to other horses when asserting her dominance during feeding.

Interaction with people:  Janet loves attention and loves to be petted once she gets to know you, she’s just uncertain with strangers.  With time, that should ease, and she should be very friendly.

History: Janet was adopted and returned - due to her adopters reasons, not hers

Training / abilities: We had a trainer out to work with her and she picked everything up really fast.  He felt as though she had been ridden before and is just a little rusty.  She was also being ridden by a 13 year old girl in her former home.
