Interaction with horses: Gets along well with a mixed herd.

Interaction with people: Loves adults and kids.

History: Reported to be an old roping horse whose owner just didn't have time to give proper care, once he got older. He is big boned and came in weighing 1009 lbs, but has fill out to be 1300 lbs. but could still use another a little more weight. Reported registered but no papers.

Training / abilities: Roping, Western.

Experience level required to work with this horse: Beginner

Has this horse ever:  Bucked? No Reared? No Kicked? No Bitten? No Other?

Ground handling: Catch? Yes, easy Lead? Yes Tie? Yes Trailer? Yes Clip? Yes Trim Feet? Yes Bathe? Yes

Special needs: Senior feed, love and attention.

Other comments: Huckleberry is very easy to handle. He is well broke but can be strong with a inexperienced rider. He does have a tendancy to start backing (looking for a box to go in) but as soon as you get him going, he is a very nice ride. After further evaluation, he does good riding for about an hour, then he gets really tired. He would be perfect for the occasional rider or weekend rides for kids. Light riding only.
