Explain overall socialization: 

Henley is friendly, curious, and has good manners.  He is intelligent enough to have figured out how to open gates.  He has caused no problems and is well behaved with other equines including both horses and donkeys.  He is currently a companion for a stud donkey.   

He is still a little leery but is getting more trusting of people every day.  Cookies are a way to win him over.  Gentle handling is a must.

Explain manners: Henley is hard to catch, but he is good when caught.  He fusses a bit with the farrier, but has never offered to kick.  He will come for treats and is friendly, he’s just hard to catch.
