“These assessments are based on how these horses respond in their current environment and any change in their current environment, riders, diet, etc could have an effect on the horses' immediate performance. Horses need time to adjust when moved to new surroundings. We highly recommend you visit, spend time with the equines and evaluate the equine before making a decision"

Explain overall training:  Helen has had training and needs consistent handling to keep these skills fresh.  She has had under-saddle training and experience using vocal cues and light leg encouragement.  When she is handled and worked regularly, she will put her best hoof forward with her human.   Without frequent handling, she can be stubborn and unresponsive under saddle.  She lunges on her sighted side and is more attentive after a few minutes of warm-up.  She does not respond to neck reining or heavy leg cues.  A tune-up with a trainer would be helpful.  One past family reported that Helen has been ridden often on their home and was well-behaved under saddle.  She is a big, strong girl and would be an excellent all around horse for her forever family.
