Temperament: Jack is very sweet and willing.

Interaction with horses: He loves a herd, and should not be alone.

Interaction with people: Jack is very easy to work with.  He whinnies at feeding time, comes when talked to, and is easy to give shots to.

History: His previous owner bought him 3 years ago, and her daughter rode him.

Training / abilities: He neck and direct reins.  I have a feeling that he has been ridden western too.  I will try him with that next time I ride him.  I only walked and trotted him.  He did really well, but is a little rusty. He has a rocking horse canter loose, so I think that should be good too.

Physical problems / health issues:  He does still crib, but it is more just drooling on the wood, rather than the destructive type that tears up the wood.  He came to us underweight, but has already gained some weight back.

Experience level required to work with this horse: Jack is so sweet that even a beginner can work him.  I think he would be good for a beginner with instruction or an intermediate rider.  He tried to push the envelope a little, but not that much.
