Horses need time to adjust when moved to new surroundings. We highly recommend you visit, spend time with the equines and evaluate the equine before making a decision"

Explain overall socialization: Haley is like a pet.  She gets along well with other horses, and is buddies with our donkey Wizard who met her at the ranch.   She is the first one in the pasture to approach you, and adores being petted and fed treats.  She will make a great companion for anyone who loves animals. Haley is ready for a family to care about her.  She likes to bond with people – she will be inseparable when she finds a forever home.  She is a very easy keeper, grazing and a small amount of grain is more than enough for her.

Explain manners: She was likely abused at some point in her past, and is very sensitive about someone touching the top of her head/ears – she was probably struck with a stick or rope.  It is not a problem, you just need to be aware and learn how to be easy haltering her and putting her bit/reins on.

Explain history if known:  Seized by law enforcement then turned over to HfH.
