Temperament: This gelding is very friendly, good tempered, easy to catch, leads well.

Temperament: This gelding is very friendly, good tempered, easy to catch, leads well.  He follows me around like a puppy dog if no other horses are around. He definitely loves to be loved on!

Physical problems / health issues:  None known.

Interaction with horses: Gets along with other horses, unless pushed by another male. He is afraid of overly dominant horses. He was picked on A LOT at his previous home. He has finally gotten comfortable with my 2 mares but if my gelding even looks at him funny he runs the other direction.

Interaction with people: He is good with people. Loves to be brushed and washed.

History: Unknown

Training / abilities: I have ridden him a few times and he is very gentle. A bit lazy but that is good for anyone wanting a horse for their kids. You have to give him a little extra push to get him going. He needs a little work with the bit and reins. I don't think it is because he is stubborn I just don't think he has had much practice. He does not neck rein, but he will direct rein. He has to actually feel the bit being pulled. He does not fight you when you do, so it is likely he was never taught to neck rein.  I doubt it would take any time at all to fix that problem. He has been ridden by children and he did great. The only thing left to test him on is if he is as calm and controllable outside the ring as he is in the ring. I am almost positive that he will be.

Experience level required to work with this horse: Beginner

Has this horse ever:  Bucked? Reared? Kicked? Bitten? Other?

Ground handling: Catch? Lead? Tie? Trailer?  Clip? Trim Feet?  Bathe? He is good with all.

Special needs: No special needs

Other comments: He is a sweet heart of a horse. Very calm for the most part, trusting and loves attention.
