Temperament:  Gracie used to be reactive, but she is very quiet now.  She tries hard to understand and listens very well.

Physical problems / health issues: The vet believes that she has a rotten tooth, but at the moment the dentist won’t be able to handle her.

Interaction with horses: Gracie does well in the herd.

Interaction with people:  Gracie loves being handled and comes to everyone now. Extremely friendly.  She has developed a lot of trust and is such a pleasure to work with.  Quite  stunning  in her new pictures.  Even with her winter coat she gleams.  I really like her a lot.  She has come a long way and is really trying.

History: From the Hunt Co. seizure. She was very malnourished.

Training / abilities: This horse had never been handled until coming to HfH.  She now wears a surcingle and snaffle bit and is leaning quickly.  Nice action.  We no longer have to keep a halter on her.

Experience level required to work with this horse: Experienced.

Has this horse ever:  Bucked? No. Reared? No. Kicked? No. Bitten? Tried once. Other?  When frightened, which is often, she runs like the devil is after her.

Ground handling: Catch? Not too bad.  Lead? Yes. Tie?  Trailer? It was difficult when we picked her up, and have not tried since. Clip? Don’t know, but at the moment, would not attempt. Trim Feet? Not yet, but she lets me pick up all four feet.  Bathe? Yes, still frightened of the noise the hose makes, but gets over it.

Special needs:

Other comments: Gracie has grown so much and is going to be a beautiful horse.  Nice conformation.  We think she may have some TB in her.  Fine legs, large butt and very pretty face.
