“These assessments are based on how these horses respond in their current environment and any change in their current environment, riders, diet, etc could have an effect on the horses' immediate performance. Horses need time to adjust when moved to new surroundings. We highly recommend you visit, spend time with the equines and evaluate the equine before making a decision"

Explain manners: Gold Dust has great manners.  She did not load well at all when she came to live at my house.  I do not have a trailer, so I have not been able to work with her on this.  I do not think that she would have a hard time learning how to load and unload.

Explain overall training:  I have been riding Gold Dust since September.  She does a great job and seems to like being ridden.  I have never taken her on a trail ride before, but if she is not adopted, we will go with some friends in a few weeks.  I’m sure that she will do well on a trail ride.  I tried to use a bit when I first started riding her, and she did not care for it at all.  I switched to a hackamore bitless bridle, and she does great with it.

Explain history if known:  Gold Dust came from Whitesborrow.  She had been starved for a long time before Habitat for Horses pulled her and several other horses out of some horrible conditions.
