Temperament: Fred is gentle and cautious. 

Physical problems / health issues: Fred is blind due to untreated uveitis.

Interaction with horses:  Not aggressive, but acts like a stallion when pastured with mares.  He is currently pastured with his companion, a 5 yo TB mare.  He prefers to maintain close contact with his companion and will call out if separated from her.

Interaction with people:  Generally gentle and calm with people.   He will follow voice commands and noises to help guide himself.

History:  Fred was rescued with his companion Ginger from auction.

Training / abilities: Untested.

Experience level required to work with this horse: A confident beginner could handle Fred.

Has this horse ever:  Bucked? NO  Reared? NO Kicked? NO Bitten? NO  Other?  None.

Ground handling: Catch? Yes. Lead? Yes. Tie? Yes, if not isolated from his companion. Trailer?  Loads, unloads with voice command. Clip? Unknown   Trim Feet? Unknown  Bathe?  Unknown

Special needs: Needs unaggressive companion horse(s) to help him in pasture setting. Other aids to help a blind horse include safe fencing, well established routine and established watering and feeding location.
