“These assessments are based on how these horses respond in their current environment and any change in their current environment, riders, diet, etc could have an effect on the horses' immediate performance. Horses need time to adjust when moved to new surroundings. We highly recommend you visit, spend time with the equines and evaluate the equine before making a decision"

General Health Score   Score
Maintains weight well  A Teeth in good condition  B
Hooves in good condition  A Overall is Healthy  A
Explain overall health:   Eve is in good health and is a good size horse although her body tends to be slender. She cribs and because of this her teeth may wear faster than a horse that does not crib. At her age, her teeth are fine now. When she wears a cribbing collar, she does not crib. Her hooves are good.

Social Skills Score   Score
Responds well to people  A Gets along with mares  A
Can touch face  A Gets along with geldings  A
Can touch ears  A
Explain overall socialization:   Eve has a great personality and loves people. Although she is not pony size, she would love just to be your pocket pony if you will let her follow you around. She is very cooperative and easy to deal with. She is calm and very sweet. She gets along just fine with the other horses in her large mixed herd.

Ground Manners Score   Score
Easy to catch  A Picks up feet for farrier  A
Easy to load  A Easy to Bathe  A
Easy to halter  A Easy to Trim  A
Easy to lead  A Easy to Fly Spray  A
Ties  A Kicks NO
Explain manners:   Eve is easy to catch unless you have her cribbing collar in your hand. She has wonderful ground manners and a laid back attitude conducive to further training. She is willing to let you try anything with her.

Riding Skills Score   Score
Stands while being tacked  Z Walks  Z
Stands while being mounted  Z Trots  Z
Easily moves out  Z Lopes/Canters  Z
Does well on trails  Z Runs  Z
Does well in arenas  Z Backs up  Z
Explain overall training:   Eve has had virtually no training. She is ready for training and has the willingness to cooperate with her handler. She would need an experienced person to train her since she knows nothing about riding and needs the basics first. Eve needs a job to make her happy and with training would be a great riding horse. If she had something to keep her busy, she would be less inclined to spend her time cribbing.

Explain history if known:    Eve was part of a multi-horse seizure due to neglect.
