1994
Height:
14 hh
Color: Black
Markings: None Location:
Boerne, TX
Adoption Fee:
$100
Temperament:
Ebony is very shy and it
takes some time for her
to trust. She is
curious. She hangs back
some but likes to know
what is going on. She
will stand at the fence
eagerly awaiting feeding
time and likes it when
her foster owners are in
the pasture with her.
Ebony gets along well
with the other mare in
the pasture. She shows
some dominance around
feeding time, mostly
pinning her ears back.
She is fine around dogs
and doesn't seem to be
bothered by them even
when there are several
running around her.
Physical problems / health issues:
None.
Interaction with horses:
Shows some dominance at
feeding time, pinning
her ears back, but she
gets along well with the
other mare in her foster
home.

She still lacks much
trust in people, but has
improved a lot.

broodmare. She was
severely malnourished
when she came in. She
was pregnant and gave
birth to Coal who was
adopted through HFH.

smart. She is improving
on her ground work and
will allow her feet to
