Temperament: Dreamer is one of the sweetest horses I have fostered. She follows me around like a puppy dog. She is very quiet and does not easily get excited. She is not pushy or dominant. She is not bothered by dogs or other animals. I caught one of my dogs eating some feed out of her tub on the ground one day as she was eating and she seemed unbothered. They run around under her and she is unflustered. I caught her cleaning a cow’s neck over the fence one day – she is extremely sweet and gentle.

Physical problems / health issues: She has had a previous injury to her knee and has some osteo-arthritis in that knee. She is not limping and it is not highly noticeable. She runs, bucks, stops and has not limped in her foster home at all.

Interaction with horses: She is pastured with one of my geldings and gets along well with him. I think she would mix well with any other horse.

Interaction with people: Gentle around people, easy to lead, brush and pet. She will usually let you walk right up to her in the pasture and will follow you around.

History: Relinquished by her owner who could not afford to care for her properly. She was relinquished with Starman 07-139.  She was adopted and relinquished when x-rays were done on her front leg which is pegion toed.

Training / abilities: She is a companion only because of her front leg.  She is totally pasture sound and has no problems.

Experience level required to work with this horse: Beginner/Intermediate on the ground.

Has this horse ever: Bucked? No. Reared? No. Kicked? No. Bitten? No. Other?

Ground handling: Catch? Yes. Lead? Yes. Tie? Yes. Trailer? Yes. Clip? Yes. Trim Feet? Yes. Bathe? Yes.

Special needs: None. She is an easy keeper.

Other comments: She is a super sweet horse. She loves people and has never offered to bite or kick. She is very beautiful to boot! I think she will make someone a very nice  horse as a companion.
