Temperament: Cupid is an easy going horse who enjoys attention and gets along well with all animals. He is at the bottom of the pecking order.

Physical problems / health issues: None known.

Interaction with horses: Gets along well in a mixed herd.

Interaction with people: Likes people.

History: Cupid was seized and awarded to HFH. He was abandoned by his previous owner after a divorce and was not properly taken care of by the ex-spouse.

Training / abilities: Cupid has race horse training, and the ability to do what ever one would want of him. He is very smart and eager to please. He has also had some neck reining work done on him as he responds very well to neck reining (very unusual for a race horse) but the extent of further training is unknown. We have ridden him and he has done very well, but needs work on mounting, he moves around quite a bit as a racer does while being mounted. It won’t take much to get this out of him.

Experience level required to work with this horse: Intermediate.

Other comments: Cupid is a very nice riding horse whose movement is soft at a walk and trot. He also holds his head high as if he is proud. He is a very pretty fella who needs a job, once he gains a bit more weight.
