History:
Training / abilities:
Charles is what we call
“backyard broke”. He
stands still for tacking
up and mounting and goes
forward with a slap on
the neck with reins. He
could use some formal
training. He doesn’t
really have any
steering, and has no
clue what leg cues are.
With some proper
training he is going to
be very special. A
beginner can ride him,
though preferably one
with a trainer. He is
good with farrier, vet,
bathing and his foster
is sure he would clip
quietly. Charles is
just a great guy. He is
also gaited, very
comfortable to ride.
