Temperament: BJ is gentle and sweet but athletic.  He is full of spunk.  Sometimes his Arabian blood surfaces but it is not a problem.

Physical problems / health issues: None known.

Interaction with horses: BJ is currently with only one horse, a mare, and he is not the alpha horse.  In a herd he would be in the middle; he is not aggressive nor is he totally submissive.  When being trailered he was left inside the trailer while the other horse was led out and worried that he was not going to be led out as well. 

Interaction with people: You treat him right, he will treat you right.  BJ not only gets along with people, he seeks interaction with everyone he sees and demonstrates that he has good manners.  He also likes dogs.  BJ loves to be groomed and loved on.

History:

Training / abilities: BJ is rideable by everyone in his foster family including adults and teens.  He needs to be ridden regularly because when he is not ridden, he can get a little spunky.    He has spooked when being ridden on a trail but recovers fast without any dramatics or flight.  BJ accepts leg and rein commands and is light on the bit.   

Experience level required to work with this horse: Intermediate.
