Temperament: Biscuit is usually sweet and docile, but occasionally temperamental at feeding time. She has threatened to kick several times, but has not actually thrown her legs back.

Physical problems / health issues: None.

Interaction with horses: Biscuit is clearly at the bottom rung of the hierarchy and gets picked on by the other horses. When the others group together, Biscuit usually hangs back.

Interaction with people: Biscuit has some trust issues still, but if you take it easy with her, and give her a little time to get comfortable with you, she is a very sweet mare.

History:

Training / abilities: Biscuit has been saddled but never ridden.

Experience level required to work with this horse: Intermediate.

Has this horse ever:  Bucked?  Reared?  Kicked? No. Bitten? No. Other?

Ground handling: Catch? Yes. Lead? Yes. Tie? Yes. Trailer? Never tried. Clip? Yes. Trim Occasionally resistant but always ends up cooperating Feet? Bathe?

Special needs:

Other comments: We think Biscuit could make a wonderful horse for someone who has the time to spend with her and the ability to bring her along slowly. She still shows some trust issues due to abuse in her pre-LSER years: she throws her rear end around at the handler occasionally, although she has never actually kicked. She has been haltered and led around with a saddle, and she would buck a few times to get the saddle off, but would then suddenly resume a casual walk around the pasture. We would like to see her stay with her on-again, off-again best friend India, if possible, as they seem to have a bond that has continued as they change homes together.
