friendly and lovable
horse
Physical problems /
health issues:
Aztec came to HfH with a
"deformity" of the
knees. He has been
cleared for light to
medium riding by a vet
with a lighter rider
(150 pounds and
under). Some arthritis
has set into the knees,
so he's on an MSM/Glucosamine
supplement (Activex) for
this. At this time, he
is favoring a front
foot, due to a recent
abscess

Gets along fine with
others, on the
submissive side in a
herd
Interaction with people:
History: Aztec
was donated in late 2003
due to his knee issues
and adopted out quickly
in early 2004. He was
returned in May through
no fault of his own; a
divorce situation
spurred his return

training under saddle
