Temperament: Moose is calm, steady and easy to handle.  He is well-mannered and easy to work with.  He has been loved a lot in his life and knows how to return the affection he is given.

Physical problems / health issues:  Moose suffers from a condition commonly known as fallen fetlocks.  It is an extension of the tendons on the backs of his rear legs. 

Interaction with horses: Moose gets along well with the other horses.  He tends to hang out with the older quieter horses. 

Interaction with people: Moose loves people.  He loves attention and spends his time hanging around where the people are.  He is always the first one to approach when people are around.

History: Moose was donated by his owner when she was no longer capable of caring for him.

Training / abilities: Moose was used as a show horse in his younger days.

Experience level required to work with this horse:  Beginner, he is very easy to deal with.

Ground handling: Catch?  Yes Lead?  Yes Tie?  Yes Trailer?   Yes Clip? Trim Feet?   Yes Bathe?

Special needs:  Special care needs to be taken when using Moose.  He could be ridden by a very small rider for a very short time and at a walk only.

Other comments:  This horse is adorable.  He is personable and friendly.  He has character and loves people.  As a companion he would be outstanding.
